Glenn’s most recent blog post at Twin Cities Business Magazine addresses, of course, St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. In his post, he proposes we create at St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, instead of just a day:
It only makes sense. Just about all the major St. Patrick’s Day festivals were held this past weekend and not on the actual holiday. Of course, some cities will maintain tradition and hold their official parades today, March 17, but the major partying, shot slamming, Guinness-infused rollicking at the bars already took place this past weekend because it was, well, the weekend. The actual day will be more of an aftershock following a major earthquake.
