Creativity Week is a tradition at Karwoski & Courage.
Every year, we devote one week to participate in activities to refresh our creative juices, get us thinking differently, and keep us sharp.
In year’s past, our own Glenn Karwoski held a workshop about creativity.
We’ve visited the Minneapolis Institute of Arts where we competed in a photography contest.
And we’ve attended a Twins game to meet with the team’s marketing staff to learn how they activate fans.
This year, we kicked off Creativity Week on Monday with a discussion with Chuck Olsen of Visual, Inc. about virtual and augmented reality.
Maggie and Katie schooled us with some hands-on training for Adobe InDesign and Premier Pro, respectively.
We kicked off a year-long project for which each of us will create a totem that represents our creative process. During each staff meeting throughout the year, then, one of us will present our own totem and explain how it represents our creative process.
And we capped off the week with a tour of the Surly brew pub and a discussion about their marketing efforts with their public relations and events professionals.
